About Evergreen Christian School

Evergreen Christian School partners with Christian families to provide an academically rigorous high school education, fully committed to the application of God’s Word to all aspects of teaching, learning, and living with the goal of preparing leaders who will impact the world for Christ.

"We have been so incredibly impressed with the teachers, staff, and leadership in building a Christ-centered high school that builds up students in their faith, has a challenging course load, and pushes students to be their best. Most of all, we love that the teachers and staff really get to know the students as individuals. It is important for our family to ensure our kids have a biblical foundation in all aspects of life -- at home, church, school, friendships, and athletics. We as parents are our children’s primary disciples. When they go to school, we need to know that the values we teach at home are being reinforced every day at school. We know that ECS will not only provide a high level of education, but most importantly teach our kids to defend their faith with biblical truth."  Parent Testimony

Thank you to everyone who participated in the ECS Quadrennial Gala & Auction “For Such a Time as This” on March 8, 2025. We are pleased to announce that we met our fundraising goal of $125,000. This is our first year to meet our goal, and we are so thankful for our guests, sponsors, donors, volunteers, auction bidders/winners, supporters, prayer warriors, staff/faculty, and students who made this achievement possible. Through the blessing of many, ECS will continue to grow and impact the lives of current students as well as the many students yet to attend Evergreen Christian. To God be the glory! Having already been named a semi-finalist in the National Merit Scholarship Competition, Senior Jacob B. has officially become a finalist! Jacob has accomplished quite a bit since coming to ECS, but what is truly most impressive about this young man is all that he has contributed to our school. We’re proud of you, Jacob, and we are looking forward to seeing how you put your Merit Scholarship offers to use serving God. Click to read more.

Mind & Heart

April 4, 2025

We are to love God with both mind and heart. The only way to truly do this in our fallen world is through the regeneration and renewal that comes with placing our faith in Christ and his death on the cross as the payment for our sin. This means that in a Christian school, the focus must be on both heart and mind. We can fill our student’s heads with knowledge of arguments for God’s existence, historical evidence of Christ’s resurrection, and detailed responses to every essential question, but if we fail to attend to the heart of our students, we will have failed in our mission. Those who know the truth of God’s word but fail to embrace it with their heart, are just as prone to walk away from faith as those who have never taken the time to study apologetics.

Christian Leadership

February 6, 2025

What does it mean to be a leader? More specifically, what does Evergreen Christian School mean when we say that we are a school that focuses on preparing leaders? Given the significant role leadership plays in our school’s mission statement, it is important that we have a clear understanding of just what it entails. We must not see leadership solely through the lens of what society deems a leader to be. Christian leadership is necessarily different. Just as importantly, Christian leadership is exactly what our world needs.
