Academic Expansion

Fasten Your Seatbelts, We’re Taking Things to The Next Level
There has never been a more exciting time to be a part of the Evergreen family. Despite being the shortest month of the year, February has been one of the busiest. I continue to be overcome with gratitude as I see God’s hand actively at work in our school. As the class of 2025 prepares for graduation, our first graduating class to contain students who have been with us all four years of our existence, I find myself reflecting upon how far we have come, as well as upon what is yet to be for Evergreen Christian.
I can confidently say that we are no longer a “start-up” school. As a fully-accredited program on the verge of operating at full capacity—we expect to see 200 students on campus next year—we are a long way from when we started with 36 students in 2021. Add to this the list of colleges and universities accepting our students, the amount of scholarship dollars being offered, and the many national awards our students have received, and it is clearly evident that by God’s grace ECS has built a reputation of academic excellence, leadership development, and biblical faith. In the words of a parent I recently interviewed, “We want to send our child to your school because Evergreen is serious about its mission.”
And so, we are looking forward to the next stage of our school. Not only has February seen us busily planning for graduation on May 23, our upcoming Quadrennial Gala on March 8, and our Ministry Leadership Breakfast on March 26, but we have also been busy preparing for the 2025-2026 school year. Yes, we are already thinking about next year. February is the month when we finalize new course offerings and put the finishing touches on new programs being introduced. This coming year will see us introduce at least four additional AP Courses, at least seven new Arts and STEM offerings, onsite (and in-person) dual enrollment classes in partnership with Colorado Christian University, a brand-new summer program, and the Lewis Scholars Program. Some of these new initiatives are highlighted below, with others being featured in our next edition of the Eagle’s View. Quite frankly, there is so much going on that we couldn’t possibly fit it into one newsletter.
At ECS we will never rest on our laurels. As Paul tells us in
1 Thessalonians 4:1, “Finally, then, brothers, we ask and urge you in the Lord Jesus, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, just as you are doing, that you do so more and more.”
So fasten your seat belts, and get ready as God takes us to even greater heights.
