With Evergreen’s first graduating class comes the first group of seniors to complete the much-anticipated oral defense. The oral defense is just one part of the Senior Capstone, which represents the culmination of the Essential Questions Project started by each student in their first year at ECS. Each student performed courageously in front of their panels, tackling such challenging topics as the problem of evil, the existence of God, abortion, gay marriage, social media, capital punishment, genetic engineering, and the authority and reliability of the Bible. We are so proud of our first graduating class, and we commend them for their hard work and commitment to pursuing truth and excellence. As they prepare for the next chapter of their lives, we pray that they will continue to grow in wisdom, knowledge, and faith, always staying true to their Christian convictions and standing firm in their beliefs.
