In March 2024, a group of our juniors and seniors traveled to Homestead, Florida for a Spring Service Trip. The students stayed and attended church at First Baptist Church in Homestead and partnered with Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA) to bless the local community during their stay. At RCMA, they completed work projects to help enhance the facilities, including painting, power-washing, cleaning toys, and even planting a garden. The students also got to work directly with the migrant worker children that the organization serves. Being able to see how happy the kids were, especially with so little, was truly inspiring for our students.
It was a wonderful time for bonding between our students as well, as students spent an afternoon swimming and surfing in the Florida Keys.
